Scholarships
Requirements
Grants and/or scholarships will be awarded to scholars in undergraduate or graduate degree level. The scholar should be in an energy related field including but not limited to geology, geochemistry, petrology and related sciences or in the business fields of finance or economics related to the energy industry.
Grants and/or scholarships could be matching funds with another institution or organization to utilize their screening process already in place.
Grants and/or scholarships will be provided as unrestricted funds such that these funds can be disbursed in a variety of ways. The funds would not have temporary or permanent restrictions and will be awarded on an annual basis provided funding is available.
Grants and/or scholarships will be awarded based on the following (not necessarily in order of priority):
- Resident of Texas
- Financial need
- Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher
- Energy related field
